While the Ohio Department of Education has provided some guidance regarding changing testing dates, the situation remains fluid. As the testing schedule becomes more stable, WebXam will update our calendar. In the meantime, the WebXam Calendar reflects the testing deadlines ODE has communicated based on school returning to face-to-face instruction on 4/6.

April 3rd Teacher Review Cancelled

WebXam is cancelling the April 3rd, 2020 Teacher Review Session. WebXam is located at The Ohio State University and guidance we have received from OSU Leadership is to minimize the circumstances in which individuals may interact and transmit disease. Construction Technologies Item-Writing Workshops

Item-writing for Construction is delayed through April due to closures, CETE hopes to continue item-writing in May and June. We need Subject-Matter Experts specifically in Architecture and Interior Design. If you are an instructor for this career field in any courses, we need you to help us write new items for new course tests. Pretesting for Construction in Fall 2020

Staff would like to remind you that the pretests for Construction Technologies will not be available next year (2020-2021) due to field testing of item banks now under revision. For any questions or concerns, please contact us at support@webxam.org. Your participation enables us to create a more thorough test, which can help your students succeed and meet graduation options.

Validation for Construction Technologies

Recruiting for validation of Construction items will begin in late spring/ early summer (based on the CoronaVirus situation). If you are a Construction Technologies instructor or professional, we are looking for subject-matter-experts (SMEs) to conduct validation and standard setting for this career field and its pathways. We’re item-writing for Health Sciences Next Year – WE WILL NEED YOU

We will be creating new test item banks for Health Sciences in the 2020-21 school year! The general workflow is from alignment/revision of existing items in early fall, item-writing in fall/winter/spring, and finishing up with validation and performance standard-setting.
