The testing window is now open for all available practice tests, posttests, and field tests. This date also opens the teacher effectiveness windows for districts using pre- and posttests for student gain or High-Quality Student Data measurements.

WebXam User's Workshop Recordings Available

The WebXam User's Workshop was held virtually on October 12th. Video recordings of the webinar have been posted online for users who were not able to attend. This workshop highlights navigating and using the WebXam system. Teachers and administrators new to the WebXam system are encouraged to watch, but the workshop will also serve as a worthwhile refresher for experienced users.

No pretesting for Health Science, including Medical Terminology

We want to remind you that there is no pretesting available for any Health Science courses in the 2021-2022 school year. This includes the Medical Terminology course, which will also have an impact on the Business, Agriculture, and Law and Public Safety career fields. Pastry Performance Assessments

Baking and Pastry Arts will be piloting performance assessments in the 2021-2022 school year, starting in January 2022. This process will require students to demonstrate hands-on skill for their subject matter with a checklist and rating scale used to evaluate student performance.

Transportation Systems Blueprint Planning Survey

As part of this planning process for item-writing workshops, we ask instructors in Transportation Systems to provide us with input on which content standards are more important for each course. WebXam and CETE staff are resuming Teacher Review Workshops at CETE in the 2021-2022 school year. Due to University policies, there is a limited number of spaces available, and they are currently only scheduled through December. All University protocols must be followed for participation. Test Security Rulebook

The start of a new school year is a great time to review policies and procedures. Be sure to familiarize yourself and any new teachers in your school with the WebXam Test Security Rulebook. Teachers and administrators who access the WebXam website to administrate or deliver tests are required to agree to the WebXam User Agreement, which includes acceptance of the revised Test Security Rulebook. Users will be prompted to confirm acceptance of these policies the first time they access WebXam each school year. The Test Security Rulebook can be found below.
