Winter Pretest Window

The use of pretests is recognized by the Ohio Department of Education as a method to help document student gain, along with the observations and measurements conducted directly by the instructor and other local district staff. The window for winter pretesting is January 2 through 27, 2017. As a reminder, students must take the posttest before April 21, 2017, in order to receive a student gain calculation, which must be reported to the state by May 1, 2017.

Posttests will still be available during the winter pretest window, so it is important to verify the correct test is being activated. Incorrectly assigned pretests or posttests that have been scored cannot be unsubmitted. The pretests will be available to any student during the window that has the corresponding posttest assigned.
